Mars Apparels Ltd. Established in 1994, Mars Apparels Ltd. started out as a small factory with about 150 employees manufacturing various kinds of knit products. Over the years the factory grew its capacity and moved onto manufacturing ladies intimate wear and sportswear products. In 2013, the management of Mars took the decision to relocate the factory from its old building to a newly built modern facility located less than a mile away. Realising the need for continued growth and with the intention of delivering better quality products, this factory has been designed to facilitate greater productivity at far superior efficiency. The building design meets all safety standards required by the Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC) and the international safety standards created by The Alliance for Bangladesh Worker Safety and The Bangladesh Accord on Fire and Building Safety. The factory opened its doors in May 2016 and started operations with the latest machinery and highly experienced staff. Our skilled technicians, supported by a robust product development team, are able to manufacture complex styles and designs. Mars Apparels is a state-of-the-art facility that is able to go above and beyond the needs of all our customers.
Mars Sportswear Ltd.
Mars Sportswear Ltd. Established in 2011, Mars Sportswear Ltd. is a state-of-the-art factory building located in the specialised industrial zone of Karnaphuli Export Processing Zone (KEPZ), Chittagong. As part of our ambition to become one of the leading lingerie and sportswear suppliers in Bangladesh, the management at Mars took the initiative to establish this modern facility. Mars Sportswear Ltd. is equipped with the latest machinery and supported by a dedicated team of specialists that use the latest scientific methods to create products of high quality. The factory is ergonomically designed to meet all international safety standards and goes above and beyond in ensuring smooth operational sustainability. The factory is fully certified by The Alliance for Bangladesh Worker Safety, The Alliance for Bangladesh Worker Safety, Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP), Wal-Mart and H&M .
Located within the custom bonded area of the Export Processing Zone (EPZ), Mars Sportswear Ltd. is able to take advantage of the one-stop customs clearing facilities, duty-free/reduced duty privileges and uninterrupted utilities services for efficient factory operations.
